Shivani who?

Resume

UX work

I’ve worked long enough in a small company to build patience for endless concept changes (and way too many iterations)

Bonus

Past Collaborations

AI is only as good as the taste and systems you feed it (design systems help). I've been building both.

4+ years of experience,

we’ve come far :)

Design, to me (hii, I’m Shivani), is about the process of untangling problems, sitting with the tension, and iterating until it works right.

WHY UX?

The complexities and fascinations of ‘Whys’ and ‘How might we’s’ that surrounded me, ended up becoming my portal into the field of User Experience.

That led me here - learnt some amazing UX stuff and was part of some cool projects along the way!

(me during graduation), not knowing how bad and weird the design space was going to get! 💃🏻

WHAT SHAPES ME AS A DESIGNER?

Spending time reading, engaging in design conversations and events and YouTube rabbit holes until some clarity emerges.

Making time to engage with history and art, to deepen my understanding of how people relate to things across time and culture - quietly(& loudly) informing design decisions.

Most importantly, doing
✨THINGS THAT KEEP ME SANE✨

Listening to A LOT of music and also singing songs.

Beautiful sunsets to zone out,
and looking up at the sky thinking,
Wow/seriously, universe?”

( it really does wonders )

( Unlearning few learnings)

Understanding the existing context, where it breaks and how people think within it. Everything else will follow from there.

( By the way, I met and shared a drink with the
co-creator of the World Wide Web. hihi )

Thank you for your time 👍

I love me a good(&bad) design conversation!
